Privacy Policy

iRental ("we," "our," or "us") is a corporate-leasing outreach platform operated by Rentalizer LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the iRental application at irental.ai and related services.

1. Who we are

iRental is a software-as-a-service product that helps corporate-housing operators contact apartment communities about leasing multiple units. We operate as Rentalizer LLC. Contact us at team@rentalizer.ai.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, company name, and password (hashed).
• Outreach configuration: sender name, sender email, sender phone, target submarkets, and message templates you create.
• Billing information: handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full payment card details.

Information from connecting your email account

When you connect a Gmail or Microsoft Outlook account to iRental, we request OAuth permissions that allow us to:

• Send messages on your behalf to the apartment communities you choose to contact.
• Read incoming replies to those outreach messages so we can surface them in your iRental dashboard, classify them (interested, not interested, etc.), and trigger any follow-up cadence you have enabled.

We only read messages that are part of conversations you initiated through iRental outreach. We do not scan your personal inbox, attachments unrelated to outreach threads, or unrelated correspondence.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: which features you use, error logs, session timestamps.
• Property data we scrape on your behalf from publicly available rental listing websites (property name, address, contact email, phone, listing URL). This is performed at your request when you create a campaign.

3. How we use your information

• To send outreach messages and follow-ups from your connected email account to the apartment communities you target.
• To capture, classify, and display replies from those communities in your dashboard.
• To operate the service (authentication, billing, support, analytics).
• To notify you of replies, hot leads, scheduled follow-ups, and important account events.
• To improve product quality and detect abuse.

4. Use of Google user data

iRental's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We use Gmail data only to provide and improve the iRental outreach feature you are using.
• We do not transfer your Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide the service, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
• We do not use your Gmail data for advertising.
• We do not allow humans to read your Gmail data unless we have your specific consent, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

5. How we share information

• With service providers we use to operate iRental: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (billing), Microsoft and Google (email delivery via your own connected account), Bright Data and Apify (property scraping), Twilio (SMS notifications), and Anthropic (reply classification AI). Each provider processes data only as needed to operate our service.
• When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you and any successor will be bound by this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and outreach data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you reactivate, after which we delete it on request or anonymize it for aggregate analytics.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing team@rentalizer.ai.

7. Your rights and choices

• You can disconnect your email account from iRental at any time from Settings. Once disconnected, we stop sending outreach and reading replies for that account.
• You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your data by emailing team@rentalizer.ai.
• You can opt out of marketing emails from iRental at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails. Transactional emails about your account remain.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, secure secret storage, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

9. International users

iRental is operated from the United States. If you access iRental from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and its processing under United States law.

10. Children's privacy

iRental is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
